Easts Cycling has been part of the social and sporting fraternity of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs since the turn of last century and enjoys the luxury of training and socialising in one of the world’s most cycling friendly environments, Sydney’s magnificent Centennial Park.
We’re a proud member of AusCycling and offer race and ride memberships for riders of all ages and abilities
along with a great social community which promotes health, wellness and well-being.
RACING
TUESDAY NIGHT HEFFRON
Racing is conducted by Easts Cycling during the daylight saving months, October to March at Heffron Park Maroubra, and has grown into Sydney’s most prestigious criterium event for the past 36 years.
The event is run on a unique handicap format over 15 laps where the elite A grade riders start last and have 15 laps to catch the B and C grade riders.
Handicap racing is an intense form of racing, as each grade has to work cohesively to stay away from the chasing grades.

ZWIFT RACING
Easts Cycling hosts a Zwift Handicap throughout the year and is designed to complement our outdoors Tuesday Night Heffron racing. It’s a great alternative when it’s raining, during the winter season or if outdoor-racing just isn’t your thing.
6pm Tuesday evenings on Zwift, ‘Tuesday Night Heffron by Easts Cycling’ races the infamous handicap format, making this every bit as hard as the real Tuesday Night Heffron. As the saying goes, “if you can win at Heffron, you can win anywhere”.
Like the real Tuesday Night Heffron, expect a blistering start, followed by settling into an uncomfortably hard rhythm and working within your group to try to win the night.

CLUB RIDES
Our training rides have been designed to
cater for riders of all levels.
It is important that you select the ride best suited to your level of fitness.
We have 3 popular Club rides each
week which depart from Albion Cycles,
302 Bronte Rd, Waverley at 6am
Wednesday 6am – Moderate pace.
La Perouse and return via Maroubra Beach. Approximately 32kms
Friday 6am – Moderate pace
La Perouse and return via Maroubra Beach. Approximately 32kms
Saturday 6am – Medium pace
With car support to Sutherland and return. Approximately 55kms. The option of continuing to Waterfall and return. Approximately 100kms.
JUNIORS
THE GRASSROOTS OF CYCLING
Our junior program runs at Heffron
Park, Robey St, Maroubra every
Sunday from 3pm.Children are welcome from the ageof 6 to 15 years of age.
The focus of the Junior Program is
based around, bike handling skills, fitness and fun.

MEMBERSHIP

Orders for Easts Cycling Kit are coordinated and manufactured by our apparel partners Champion Systems.
Our Club ordering portal is usually open for about 2 weeks to receive orders before being sent to the factory and delivered to you 4 weeks later.
